Spencer Noel, Staff Writer
Spencer Noel, a senior at La Jolla High School, is a first year staff writer for the Hi-Tide. He joined Journalism for the chance to improve his writing skills. He also joined so that he could show off his ability to write stories that people genuinely care about.
Noel hopes to see a noticeable difference in his writing level by the end of the year and to transfer his skills in writing articles to write excellent college essays. His interest in journalism comes from the fact that he wants to learn about local issues relevant to La Jolla High School and spread awareness of those issues to his peers. Although Noel does not have any formal writing experience outside of school, he does have experience capturing stories in the Video Production class.
