Ariana Gordon, Staff Writer
Ariana Gordon is a freshman at LJHS, and new member of The Hi-Tide staff. She decided to take journalism because Ariana has always enjoyed writing in her English classes, and feels like it will suit her abilities well. Ariana tends to be shy, and she thinks that journalism will be an effective way for her to step out of her comfort zone. Ariana is excited to see her personal growth over the course of the year. In her free time, Ariana enjoys reading, drawing, and taking contemporary and ballet classes. Her goals in journalism include sharing different perspectives through writing, as well as learning more about the world around her. She would also like to strengthen her writing abilities. Ariana is thrilled to be a part of The Hi-Tide newspaper, and looks forward to working with the staff throughout the year.
