Anastasia Akopova is a junior and a new member of the Hi-Tide staff. She is excited to begin her journey as a journalist and looks forward to sharing stories for all to enjoy. Ms.Akopova is excited to translate her past journalism experience into her current writing pieces. She enjoys reading in her spare time and uses writing as a creative and emotional outlet. Her goals in journalism include sharing the journey of people whose stories would otherwise not get heard and to become a stronger writer. These objectives will hopefully carry over into her adult life. She is excited to write for the La Jolla Hi-Tide.
