Patrick Chavez, Staff Writer
Patrick Chavez is a senior in his first year as News Editor for La Jolla High School’s Hi-Tide. As a junior, he joined the Hi-Tide as a staff writer and wrote articles primarily for the News column for the 2018-2019 school year.
Chavez has been writing academically since freshman year and has been interested in journalism since middle school. He has three years of academic writing experience and one year of prior journalism experience.
As a senior at La Jolla High School, he hopes to assist new writers in their writing proficiency and learn from his position as News Editor.
