Singer Selena Gomez and music producer Benny Blanco were married on September 27. Their marriage ceremony was held in California. It took place on a beach in Santa Barbara, surrounded by a romantic garden with white roses and olive branches. They first publicly posted their relationship in December 2024. A year later, Blanco shared the news of their marriage via a post on Instagram, captioned “i married a real life princess” For the wedding, Gomez wore a custom white halter-style gown by the brand Ralph Lauren. Family, friends, and celebrities attended the ceremony, including Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. In another Instagram post, Gomez shared several photos from the event, including one of her straightening Blanco’s bowtie and others of her holding a bouquet. Sophomore, Drake Richardson, said, “I’ve been following their relationship and I heard about the marriage as soon as it happened, and I am very happy for them.” The mood was described by guests as emotional and joyful, with personal vows, close friends speaking, and a warm reception that reflected the couple’s happiness and strong bond. Kaden Flynn, another sophomore, says, “I think it is great that two wonderful people have found such a blossoming relationship, and I can’t wait to see their connection flower in the near future”. Taylor Swift reportedly was the maid of honor and gave a short speech at the reception. It included a live jazz band, many cocktails, and a dessert bar with cake pops, churros, and macarons. The night ended with fireworks over the ocean and the newlyweds sharing their first dance under the stars.
