They have tea at the ready, and the warm, muted tones of the decor immediately begin to relax you. Danessa, one of the estheticians, says, “We approach skincare holistically.” This means that they take into account more than the client’s skin’s appearance when suggesting new routines or treatments. They make sure to ask about the client’s activities, emotional well-being, and own ideas, so the recommendations are personally tailored to fit your specific needs. This makes up the core of their services, and it is what makes it so unique.
Cleo Skincare offers a wide range of services, including facials, sugaring (a type of hair removal that uses sugar rather than wax to remove the hair and is usually less painful), brow shaping, and laminations, and they just started doing lash tints. Each service has options to personalize it, such as getting a facial targeted to acne care or hydrating the skin.
A facial is basically like a face massage with products that make it hydrated, clean, exfoliated, and overall, healthier. When I went in to receive one of their acne facial services, there were hot towels that steamed my face, cool ice globes that boosted collagen, an enzyme mask that tingled, and even a back and shoulder massage. The acne facial also included extractions that were neither as painful nor intimidating as it would seem. I left the appointment feeling relaxed and more knowledgeable about my skin. Dannessa, the esthetician who did my facial suggested a few simple changes to the products I was using. These are things that I can continue doing even after the facial, and will help my skin to clear up in the long run.
