Jacob Alatorre is a senior at La Jolla High and a first year writer for the Hi-Tide. He’s coming with some prior knowledge on writing from his experience on the yearbook his junior year. He’s excited to be able to grow and improve his writing and journalism skills though the Hi-Tide and contribute more as he learns how to be a better journalist, story teller, and interviewer. In Jacob’s free time he likes to play instruments like guitar, bass, violin, and trumpet, but he likes spending time with his friends the most even if there just sitting and talking doing nothing.
