Brook Ataba is a sophomore and this is her first year of journalism as a staff writer. She wanted to join journalism because she wants to learn more about La Jolla High. Brook grew up in La Jolla. She enjoys playing field hockey, going to the beach, and hanging out with family and friends. She is excited to learn new skills on how to interview from the older junior and senior editors to become a more confident journalist. Brook is super excited to write for the Hi-Tide and looks forward to share her love for writing with the world.
