Margareta Backlund is a Freshman at La Jolla High School and she is excited to start her career as a staff writer for the Hi-Tide. She got involved with Journalism in an effort to further her love for writing and her desire to connect and help people. The field of journalism has many different paths that she wants to explore. She has written much over her school career and is excited to improve her writing skills even further.
