Michel Lopez is a freshman at La Jolla High, as well as a first-year reporter for the Hi-Tide. She is also a member of the cheerleading team at LJHS. She chose journalism in hopes of improving her writing and social skills. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, reading horror novels, writing, and watching movies or shows. Her favorite thing is listening to music, and she does it whenever she gets the chance. She is excited to write news articles and learn new things about journalistic topics.
