Matthew Sorensen is a senior at La Jolla High and in his first year of Journalism as a staff writer. He joined Journalism in order to improve his interviewing skills along with his ability to learn how to write concisely. Moreover, he is elated to be able to have first hand experience on how the newspaper business works as he is interested in studying business in college. Outside of school, Matthew enjoys interacting with others in public and editing videos. Sorensen hopes to bring his editing skills to use in this class. He hopes to have a fun year full of learning and having new experiences.
