Kayla Eslamian is a senior and a new reporter on The La Jolla Hi-Tide staff. She joined the team to develop her communication skills and improve at interviewing, a skill she believes will be valuable for her future career in dentistry. Though she is new to the journalism field, Kayla has experience in writing articles during her previous school projects. Beyond journalism, Kayla is passionate about playing beach volleyball, beach hopping, cooking, and thrifting for unique finds to upcycle. She thrives on creativity and enjoys finding new ways to express herself. Kayla’s goal this year is to make the most of her final year of high school by taking on new experiences and creating memorable moments. She is eager to contribute to The La Jolla Hi-Tide and grow as a journalist.
