Bijou Gonzalez is a senior at La Jolla High. She is starting her first year in journalism as the arts and entertainment editor for the Hi-Tide and is excited to take on a leadership role. She has always enjoyed writing and looks forward to exploring new ways to share stories through journalism. Bijou is excited to cover topics that highlight student interests, such as new music and the school’s theater productions while encouraging staff reporters to find their voice. She values collaboration and open-mindedness. Outside of Journalism, Bijou enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and hanging out with friends.
