Ben Buechel is a senior and a new member of the Hi-Tide staff. He joined Journalism to further his writing skills and learn about the publication process of a newspaper. His previous writing experiences come from multiple years of high school English classes along with additional English lessons in the Summer. Buechel is excited to write articles about the La Jolla community and promote the school newspaper to expand its outreach. Outside of school, he enjoys working out and going to the beach with friends. He is looking forward to a great year as part of the Hi-Tide staff.
