Alizee Carey, Spotlight Editor
Alizee Carey is a sophomore at La Jolla high school. This is her second year in journalism, now as spotlight editor. Joining journalism was the best way to express Carey’s passion for writing. She fell in love with it quickly during the first year of holding the position as a reporter. Carey enjoys every aspect of writing from the beginning of crafting the piece to editing. Journalism is enjoyable because it is a unique opportunity to write and read the story of the world and its people. This school year Carey hopes to build a strong connection between the school and its paper, intriguing students of LJHS to read the stories pulled together.
