Starting the 2021 playoffs, the Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Atlanta Braves are competing for their spot in the MLB finals. Playing against each other, the Red Sox and the Houston Astros have had an overall good season. With the Red Sox winning 92 games and losing 70, they have gained a large fan base. Freshman Milo Zaharis said, “I want the Red Sox to win because of their strong work throughout the season.”

Both the Red Sox and the Houston Astros have had an overall good season, Red Sox winning 92 games and losing 70 and the Astros winning 95 games and losing 67. The Red Sox won the majority of their games, playing against the Yankees at Fenway Park in the AL Wild Card Game. In the games they’ve recently played, the Sox have won 2 and lost 3 and the Astros have won 3 and lost 2 putting them one game ahead.

When asked who he supported, freshman Adam LaFever said, “The Dodgers, no one wants the Astros to win, you know why? Because they cheated and stole the world series from the Dodgers.” The LA Dodgers have had an incredible season with 106 games won and 56 lost, where the Atlanta Braves have had a significantly closer season with 88 wins and 73 loses. These four teams will meet head to head in the World Series where one team will emerge victorious and win the Commissioner’s Trophy.
