Padres Eliminated From MLB Playoff Contention

San Diego’s home baseball team, The Padres, are well known for being one of the most popular sports team in San Diego. However, bad news arrived for all of the Padres fans out there. The Padres were recently eliminated from the playoff contention due to losing recent games. The Padres just lost their 37th game. Even though they won 25 games in the process, they still were eliminated off the playoff convention. Freshman Ella Milstein stated, “It’s sad but there is always next year,” On the other hand, some students from LJHS state that they deserved to be eliminated due to their terrible performance and team. Sophomore Nick Zimmerman stated, “Their bullpen sucks and their outfield is horrible and they only have 4 batters that are good. AJ Preller is at blame due to not helping his team during the trade deadline.” This news devastated thousands of Padres fans, however, there is a saying, “There is always next year!” There is always hope that the Padres make it on the list qualifying for the Playoff Contention next year.
