Kate Hartford, Sports Editor
Kate Hartford is a senior at La Jolla High School and Sports Editor for the Hi-Tide. Although it is her first year in Journalism, she is very excited to work with the Hi-Tide staff and learn from other writers. She looks forward to getting to know her peers and working with them on sports articles. Hartford has taken Advanced, Seminar, and Advanced Placement English classes at school, which have helped develop her writing.
She has grown up actively involved in several sports. Hartford is a four-year varsity athlete in both field hockey and swim team, and previously played water polo. She currently plays club rugby outside of school.
