La Jolla High School Tennis JV and Varsity are doing great and working hard. Some team members include Coach Moses, Coach Carnaje, Daphnie Tseng, Ava, Karis, Emily, Gabby Nemeh, Ellie, Nadia Tashakorian, Seraya Tashakorian, Anna, Natalie, Jordan, Crecent, and Loren. 

JV Player Dathan Guiley said that she found her inspiration from her mom because she encourages her to become whatever she wants to be. When asked about her season record, Guiley replied, “I won most of my games.” Outside of tennis, she enjoys many activities.

“I like Graffiti writing, playing tennis, and being at the beach,” said Dathan. She talked about what she does to train, “A lot of technique drills; every day there is a new technique. We eat and keep healthy, and workout and run every day,” said Guiley. 

Varsity Player Jenna Carioscia said the Varsity Team is also doing great, and have only lost a few games. “I do weights, footwork, sprints, and a lot of running,” said Carioscia. She talked about her plans for the future, “I would like to go to U.C. Santa Barbara because it has a really pretty campus.” Overall, both La Jolla High Tennis teams had a great run and are ready to do even better next year.
